This service is for those in need of end of life care for people 16 and older, here’s what is included:
2-4 face-to-face visits to discuss goals/needs/options and prepare for your vigil
2 face-to-face visits to outline a meaningful life review + legacy project
Telephone, text, and email support to offer continued guidance.
Telephone, text, and email support for you and your family throughout the end of life and the early stages of dying
Referrals to other community/resources
Guidance, referral, and liaison to needed professional services
2 day Death Cleaning for home
Collaboration with hospice team, on-call nurses, doctors, loved ones ect for best coordinated care, communication and limited stress.
Sitting vigil during the active dying process 3 days (4 Hr Shifts)
Bereavement support up to 24 hours after death
A follow up visit 4-5 weeks after death
Facilitating end of life discussions + education with loved ones, client and friends that have trouble processing
Family discussions, diagnosis and prognosis disclosures.
Diving into memory making and reflection that will assist in brightening mood.
Exploring anxieties, panic and worries surround end of life care and after death process.
Herbal Support for loved ones and friends included in process.
Funeral Planning + Navigation (9 Day Availability) via phone call, text, video chat and face to face.
Grounding exercises
Energy work if needed
Wrapping up affairs
Spiritual Support
Creating a beautiful atmosphere with great companionship when loved ones need a break and self care.
End of Life paperwork checklists (POLST forms, advanced directives, wills, etc.) and renewing or changing existing directives
Downsizing help
Formal vigil planning and establishing contingency plans
Identify anticipated needs and solutions to ensure quality of life
Caregiver support
Wrapping up affairs

* Must provide room & board via in home, Airbnb or hotel for those outside of the state North Carolina and traveling costs ie. transportation, Extra cost will be discussed!
*Once I take you on as a new client doula forms, contracts and informational handouts including resources are provided!
